From Local to Transnational: The Challenge of Campaigning in Tomorrow´s Europe

Dozens of leading European political consultants and electoral campaigners are gathering in Zürich for the 14th annual meeting of their profession. Theme of the event: “national democracies and transnational structures”. We aim at casting a new light at the correlation between European national states on the one hand, and transnational structures (EU, UNO, WTO, NATO) on the other. The conference is to bring out to what extent national states can be justified within transnational structures in the future. On the previous day of the two-day event, the EAPC MASTER CLASS will take a range of training sessions in cooperation with NCCR Democracy of the university of Zurich and offer insights in the secrets of successful campaigning. Promoter of the annual meeting is the Stöhlker AG, Zollikon, one of the leading consultancies for strategic public relations in Switzerland. In charge of the congress is Raoul D. Stöhlker, board member of the EACP and managing partner of the Stöhlker AG in Zollikon-Zürich.
